away we go.

In exactly one week I will be off to Colorado, where I will spend a couple of days at the YWAM base in Colorado Springs, spending time with friends and preparing to leave the country for six months. This last week will be a good week, jammed pack with seeing friends and family, packing, eating the most American food I can get my hands on, and just enjoying Michigan and the things that come with it! I will be leaving the country from Denver on September 8th, I ask that if you happen to think about me that day that you pray for me. Pray for safe travels, our luggage stays on the correct route, no delays, the usual.
I can try and explain the things I am feeling right now, but I know I won't be able to truly describe it. Most importantly, I am excited. So excited that sometimes I have to make my brain stop thinking about it or else I wouldn't be able to get anything else done. I am excited to meet new people, learn about a new culture, and most of all, excited to spread God's love with whomever I can. I am also a bit nervous, what if I have been lying to myself all along and I really do hate Indian food? especially curry? Bu mainly, the excitement is overshadowing the nervousness. Thank you all for reading and praying, I will update as often as I can, though I have heard the electricity is rather random, which in turn leads to random internet, which in turn leads to a nervous Mother and family, BUT.. I will do my best! And if I don't see you before I leave I love you all and I will see you in March!
many blessings!
